Funko Pop! Death Note Ryuk #2382

You can’t see it in the photos, but the detailing on the apple and the folds in his robe really pop under direct light. The crouched stance makes him feel like he’s mid-laugh, which is exactly the chaotic vibe I wanted. Even the little wings on his back have that dark, wispy texture.

The way Ryuk’s crouched pose captures his lurking energy is spot-on, and the paint job on his feathers and that grin is cleaner than most pops I’ve gotten lately. He’s got real presence on the shelf, even before you notice the apple.

The little apple in his hand is such a nice touch, and the skull-like face has way more detail in person than in the photos. I’ve got him perched on my shelf next to my manga volumes, and he fits right in with the series’ vibe.
