Learn what makes the Banpresto King of Artist Luffy Gear 5 Metallic Event Exclusive figure special, its key features, and who it's best for.
Quick answer
The Banpresto King of Artist Luffy Gear 5 Metallic Event Exclusive is a limited-release figure with a striking metallic finish, ideal for collectors who want a premium display piece of Luffy's most powerful form.
Why the metallic finish matters
The metallic paint application on this figure gives Luffy's Gear 5 form a reflective, eye-catching sheen that standard releases lack. It emphasizes the dynamic sculpting, especially the swirling white hair and confident expression.
Event exclusive trade-offs
As an event exclusive, this figure may be harder to find after the initial release window. The limited availability can affect pricing on the secondary market, so buying early at the catalog price of USD 72.59 (compared to USD 109.99) offers better value.
Decision rules
- Finish preference: Choose this figure if you want a metallic, reflective paint job that standard Luffy figures don't offer.
- Availability window: Purchase early to secure the catalog price; event exclusives often appreciate in value and become harder to find. Check stock now if you're interested.
- Display intent: This figure is designed for display, not play. Its metallic finish and detailed sculpting are best appreciated in a showcase.
