Thinking about pre-ordering the Funko Pop! Dan Da Dan Okarun #2387? This guide covers release date, deposit policies, and who should—or shouldn't—reserve this collectible.
Quick Answer
If you want the Funko Pop! Dan Da Dan Okarun #2387 without paying aftermarket prices later, pre-ordering now at USD 10.39 is the smart move—just be ready for the August 2026 release window.
Why Pre-Order Instead of Waiting?
Pre-ordering locks in the current price of USD 10.39, compared to the catalog comparison price of USD 15.99. Once this Pop! sells out, secondary-market prices often climb higher. For a popular anime like Dan Da Dan, demand can spike fast after the figure ships.
The main trade-off is the wait. You pay now and receive the item around August 2026. If you prefer instant gratification or aren't sure about committing to the series, waiting for general release is an option—but you risk paying more or missing out entirely.
Who Is This Pop! For?
This Okarun figure captures his mid-transformation moment, making it a standout piece for fans of the series. Collectors who focus on detailed character moments or who are building a complete Dan Da Dan set will find it especially appealing.
However, if you only collect full-human or full-transformed forms, the hybrid design might not match your display theme. Also, note the general safety warning: this is an adult collectible with small parts, so it's not suitable for young children.
Pre-Order Decision Rules
- Price Lock vs. Market Risk: Pre-order at USD 10.39 to avoid potential price hikes. If the figure becomes scarce after release, resale prices often exceed the original retail. Pre-ordering is the cheapest way to guarantee one.
- Release Timeline: Expected to ship in August 2026. Pre-orders may be charged at time of purchase or upon shipment—check the store's policy. Set a reminder for August so you're not surprised by the charge.
- Condition & Collectibility: As a standard Pop! vinyl figure, it comes in a window box. The transformation design is unique to this mold, which may increase long-term collectibility. Keep the box in good shape if you value future resale.
