Quick Answer
If you want the iconic Super Saiyan look from Dragon Ball Z, go with the S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan Son Goku NYCC 2024. If you prefer a more playful, classic Goku expression, the Innocent Challenger version is your pick.
What Sets Them Apart
Both figures are Tamashii Nation exclusives from NYCC 2024, but they capture different sides of Goku. The Super Saiyan version shows him in his most recognizable battle-ready form, while the Innocent Challenger figure leans into his cheerful, determined personality.
Each figure has its own appeal, so the choice really comes down to which Goku you want on your shelf. Consider the display you're building and the mood you want to capture.
Which Goku Should You Choose?
- Super Saiyan Goku: Pick this if you want the definitive battle-ready Goku from Dragon Ball Z. The vibrant colors and detailed sculpting make it a centerpiece for any Z collection.
- Innocent Challenger Goku: Choose this if you prefer Goku's playful side. It's a unique take that stands out among more serious battle figures.
- Budget Consideration: The Super Saiyan version is priced slightly higher, but both offer the quality you expect from S.H.Figuarts. Decide based on which look matters more to you. Check current prices before you buy—exclusive figures can fluctuate.
