What to expect when unboxing the limited edition Eric Draven figure from the Thrilljoy PIX! series, including packaging, display options, and buying tips.
Quick answer
The Thrilljoy The Crow PIX! Eric Draven is a limited edition wall-hanging figure that comes with a certificate of authenticity and is ready to display right out of the box.
What's in the box
The Eric Draven PIX! figure arrives in a collector-friendly box that includes the figure itself, a laser-printed spot varnished collector's card serving as the certificate of authenticity, and a hanging mechanism. The packaging is designed to let you see the figure without opening, which helps if you're a mint-in-box collector.
Unlike some blind box collectibles, this is a guaranteed figure—you know exactly which character you're getting. That makes it a straightforward purchase for fans of The Crow who want Eric Draven in their collection without the gamble.
Display options and trade-offs
The PIX! series is designed to be hung on a wall or stacked with other PIX! figures. This wall-mountable format saves shelf space and creates a unique display. However, the figure's pose and base are optimized for wall mounting, so it won't stand securely on a flat surface like a traditional statue. If you prefer desk or shelf display, you may need to lean it against a support or consider a small stand.
The figure's signature makeup and intense gaze are faithfully reproduced, making it a striking piece for fans who appreciate the character's tragic and rebellious aesthetic.
Buying decisions
- Is it a blind box?: No. This is an open-box purchase where you know you're getting Eric Draven. There is no random variant or chase to hunt.
- How does it display?: Designed for wall hanging. It includes a hanging mechanism and can also be stacked with other PIX! figures. It is not freestanding on a shelf. Plan your display spot before unboxing.
- What about authenticity?: Every figure comes with a laser-printed, spot varnished collector's card that serves as the certificate of authenticity. Keep this card with the figure for resale value. Store the card in a safe place.
- Price and value: The catalog price is USD 47.57, with a comparison price of USD 77.99, indicating a discount from a higher reference price. This is a limited edition, so availability may be limited. If you want it, consider purchasing sooner rather than later.
