Compare BanPresto's Demon Slayer Daki and Zohakuten figures on height, price, and display presence to decide which demon belongs on your shelf.
Quick answer
Choose the BanPresto Daki if you want a taller, budget-friendly Demon Series EX figure with strong shelf presence. Choose the Zohakuten figure if you prefer a compact, non-articulated display piece and are willing to pay a little more for a different demon.
Size and display presence
Daki stands approximately 6.3 inches tall, while Zohakuten is listed at 5.9 inches. That half-inch difference is small on paper, but it affects how each figure fills a shelf: Daki reads as a taller centerpiece, while Zohakuten fits more easily into tighter spaces or grouped displays.
Neither figure is articulated, so both are meant for static display. If you like to rearrange your collection often, keep in mind that Zohakuten's compact size makes it easier to slot between other figures without crowding.
Price and series fit
Daki is part of the Demon Series EX line and is priced at $15.99 (compared with a $24.99 catalog comparison price). Zohakuten is priced at $20.12 (compared with $32.99). The Daki figure costs less, which makes it the easier entry point if you are building a Demon Slayer shelf on a budget.
The series label matters if you are completing a specific lineup. Daki is explicitly part of the Figure EX series, so it may pair naturally with other EX releases. Zohakuten's listing does not name a series beyond Demon Slayer, so check your existing collection if series consistency is important to you.
Material and safety notes
Daki is made of plastic, while Zohakuten is made of ABS and PVC. Both are non-articulated display figures, but the Zohakuten listing includes a general safety warning that products sold by OR Anime LLC may be intended for adult collectors. If you are buying for a younger fan, treat that warning as a prompt to check suitability rather than assuming either figure is a toy.
Key trade-offs to weigh
- Height vs. space: Daki is about 0.4 inches taller than Zohakuten. If shelf height is limited, measure your space first; if you want a stronger focal point, Daki's extra height helps. Check your shelf clearance before ordering either figure.
- Price vs. series: Daki costs less and carries the Figure EX series label. Zohakuten costs more but does not list a specific series beyond Demon Slayer. Decide whether budget or series consistency matters more. If you are completing the EX line, Daki is the clearer match.
- Material and audience: Daki is plastic; Zohakuten is ABS and PVC and includes an adult collector warning. If the figure is a gift for a younger fan, review the warning before purchase. Confirm the intended audience before buying Zohakuten as a gift.
